Join the Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club (LCKC) for the 3rd Annual Chattahoochee Half Jack, a late-season paddling race on the Chattahoochee River and a perfect tune-up for ChattaJack 2026. With multiple distance options, broad craft categories, and SEP Series points on the line, this event offers something for paddlers of all levels.

Participants may register for one event:
- 5K
- 10K
- 25K
Entry Fees
- 5K: $65
- 10K: $75
- 25K: $90
🛑 Registration closes September 24, 2025.
No race-day registration will be available.
Who Should Race
The Chattahoochee Half Jack is ideal for:
- Paddlers looking to earn SEP Series points
- Athletes preparing for ChattaJack 2026
- Juniors through Masters athletes across a wide range of craft types
Age divisions range from Junior (15–17) through Masters 80+.
Boat Classes
The event is open to:
- Kayaks
- Surf skis
- Stand-up paddleboards (SUP)
- Prone boards
- Standard canoes
- Outrigger canoes
All members of multi-paddler crafts must register individually.
Awards
Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division, based on:
- Age group
- Gender
- Craft category
Race Day Details
- 4-hour course cutoff for all distances
- All racers must finish by 1:00 PM
After finishing, paddlers are invited to enjoy a post-race buffet lunch, included with registration.

Safety Requirements
- A signed waiver is required (available online)
- All participants must carry a US Coast Guard–approved PFD and whistle on their craft
