Drew has been paddling at Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club since 2011, beginning in the Beginner Racing League before progressing through the Developmental and High Performance programs. Over the course of his competitive kayaking career, he raced at three National Championships, earning multiple gold, silver, and bronze medals across various events.
In 2018, Drew was selected to compete on the United States National Dragon Boat Team at the ICF Dragon Boat World Championships, marking a career highlight. At the event, his team captured four gold medals, along with additional podium finishes, and earned the overall international title. Drew brings his competitive experience, team-first mindset, and passion for paddling to his coaching, helping athletes develop both technical skills and a love for the sport.
