Brendan Richards

Brendan has been involved with LCKC since his daughter enrolled in BRL in the Fall of 2018. He is delighted to participate with the Club as he remembers watching the 1996 Olympics from California where he lived at the time. Very early on he volunteered as a safety boat driver. Growing up he would go fishing with his uncle in a 12 ft fiberglass v-hull jon boat. He is very comfortable getting back into the helm. Since then, he has manned and led several Safety Boat teams, including Nationals in 2024 and two Dragon Boat Festivals. His daughter still enjoys paddling and is working toward competing nationally. Brendan has a background in Finance and welcomes the opportunity to serve as its Treasurer.
